Study Abroad Opportunities
There are almost 200 study abroad programs in more than 150 cities for students. Columbia has Global Centers in places such as Mumbai, Beijing and Paris. It also has programs at universities, such as Oxford and Cambridge. Students may also participate in summer interships at places such as Istanbul, Singapore and more! Only students with a GPA of 3.0 or above may be considered for study abroad. Columbia University in the City said, "Nearly all approved study-abroad programs involve direct enrollment in foreign university courses. To ensure academic success abroad—and to facilitate cultural immersion—students need to be capable and motivated language learners."
